A strong college application essay gives admissions readers information they can't get from grades, scores, and activities alone. But many essays don't take full advantage of the opportunity. The topic says little about the student, the ideas aren't fully developed, or the writing isn't polished.
I work closely with students and, through conversation and questions, guide them as they identify a topic they care about, develop their ideas, and clarify what they want to say, then write and refine a polished essay in their own voice.
